Good morning, 757!

On this day in 1776, George Washington had the Declaration of Independence read aloud to his troops, and New Yorkers got so fired up they pulled down a statue of King George III and melted it into 42,000 musket balls. Two hundred fifty years later, the 757 still celebrates big ideas the same way we always have: outside, on the water, with food in hand. This weekend, that means Virginia's biggest taco festival taking over Waterside, whiskey flowing through Williamsburg, and a Dead tribute on the sand at Ocean View.

Here's what's on tap:

  • 🌮 Virginia's biggest taco festival takes over Waterside with $4 tacos from more than 28 kitchens

  • 🎤 Virginia's own Matt Maeson plays a solo show at The NorVa

  • 🥃 Williamsburg pours its way through Whiskey & Wine Weekend

  • 🐱 The original Pete the Cat author reads live in Suffolk

And much more!

Let's get to it.
